Students and schoolchildren receive a free 6-month extension when signing up for 1-year Premium Membership. That means you get 18 months of Premium for €99 / $99, which works out as only €5.50 / $5.50 per month. That’s a saving of around 45% on our monthly membership! The discount doesn’t apply to taking out a monthly or multi-year Premium Membership.
To redeem your discount please send some credentials (e.g. a scan of a current student or school ID) and your username to support@chess24.com. After our customer service has verified your details the free extension will be unlocked.
Please note that after 18 months your annual Premium Membership will automatically renew for a further twelve months unless you cancel it beforehand. If you’re still a student or at school you can get the free six months again by sending us an up-to-date ID.
